Aji Red

This heavy cropping and easy-to-grow Peruvian variety grows into a large, drooping plant with fruits 6-8cm long that ripen to bright red. The fresh fruit has a distinctive citrus & smoky flavour.

Due to its drooping nature, this plant is a good choice for a hanging basket and for growing outdoors.

I have had loads of success with the Aji Lemon but have never tried the red variety.  I am told it should behave exactly the same but has a slightly more smoky flavour.
