So these are a little bit special and considered to be the hottest of the Habanero variety. Boy are these special, the smoky rich flavour combined with ever climbing heat make them one of my favourite Chillies. They are also pretty easy to cultivate as long as you give them warmth and sunshine.
The pods tend to be slightly larger than the average Habanero. They start emerald green and then take on their unique Chocolate colour. I am currently experimenting with a sauce that works around this variety, so if you see a Brown sauce on any of my stalls this year please do not mistake this with "typical brown sauce"
